Becoming Catholic (RCIA)
Adults who wish to be baptized, or who would like to complete their Catholic Christian initiation by celebrating the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This is a process where participants begin in the Inquiry phase by asking their questions, and then, as they are ready, move through different stages of the catechumenate process. Each stage is marked by a special rite or ritual, culminating with full initiation at the Easter Vigil.

The goal of Faith Formation here at Resurrection is ongoing conversion to Jesus Christ and full and active participation in the life of the Church. We are all called to adult faith. Growing in faith is an ongoing, lifetime process. Mature faith means becoming attuned to God’s presence in our lives, being able to name that presence according to our faith tradition, and responding to Jesus’ call to discipleship by serving others.

The Church of the Resurrection provides adults with many opportunities for spiritual enrichment and discipleship through participation in prayer groups, our Parish Mission, bible study, Cursillo, Lenten Stations of the Cross and soup suppers, liturgical, educational, and service ministries, and organizations.
